Rana Akhavan is a Los Angeles-based designer with strengths in illustration, game design, motion graphics and social media advertising.  She graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BFA in Illustration - Entertainment Arts.  Her work ranges from detailed, hand-drawn illustrations to animated music videos.     

Rana is captivated and motivated by the digital world of design.  She predominantly works in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but also has experience in After Effects, InDesign, and Cinema 4D.  Her career thus far has led her to pursue art direction, game design, visual development, and advertising.

Rana currently works as a Freelance Designer.  She has also worked with various collaborators such as Capitol Records, Comedy Central, and Marta Kauffman of More Horses Productions.
